About Make Your Mark

The Make Your Mark collective is a city-wide partnership to recruit and retain more educators of color in Denver. The 2017 Educators of Color Summit will provide support, resources, and a forum for discussion and planning for educators of color.
Make Your Mark Educators of Color Summit Power on

Power Up

Educators of Color often have many workplace experiences that warrant tailored support, tools and nurturing space for restoration. The Summit will provide all three as educators of Color get powered up for the 2017-18 school year. Sessions feature practical leadership strategies to build educator capacity, and provide a safe space and platform to dialogue about identity and the workplace experience.

Make Your Mark Educators of Color Summit Power Organizing

Power Organizing

The Summit is designed to provide space for educators of Color to change agent dialogue, planning and organizing for collective impact in service of equity. Too often, individuals and groups work in isolation with little man power. These sessions are hosted by some of our community’s most powerful activists, organizers and education change agents.
